We manufacture core XR components such as cyclorama systems, lighting, audio equipment, and projection systems. We also develop the software that integrates Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality technologies, all to build a comprehensive Virtuality Extended Reality Platform.
Our strategic focus is to expand business growth in the manufacturing of XR (Extended Reality) equipment, alongside its seamless integration with existing market equipment. This initiative is key to our continued development and market presence to hospitals, fashion, and remote collaboration.
Effectron has been at the forefront of integrating stage lighting and audio-video technologies since 1988. Building on this deep expertise, we also manufacture components like cyclorama systems, lighting, and integrate audio / projection systems. We are extending our foundational knowledge to the exciting world of Extended Reality (XR), where we will play a pivotal role in harnessing XR technology to seamlessly bridge the real and virtual worlds
Effectron's Extended Reality (XR) Cyclorama System represents a cutting-edge evolution of the traditional cyclorama, designed to create highly immersive and interactive shared environments that seamlessly blend real and virtual worlds. Unlike individual XR headsets that offer personal experiences, an XR cyclorama system transforms a physical space into a dynamic, collective, and interactive digital landscape.
Large-Scale, Seamless Displays: High-resolution projectors cast expansive, photorealistic virtual environments onto a curved, continuous screen, enveloping users within the digital content (Screen + Projection System)
Real-time Rendering and Graphics: Powered by high-performance computers and advanced graphics engines (like Unreal Engine or Unity), the virtual content is rendered in real-time, allowing for immediate responsiveness to user actions and dynamic changes in the environment (Software)
Integrated Tracking and Interaction: A crucial element for XR, these systems incorporate precise motion tracking (for users and objects), spatial audio, and sometimes haptic feedback. This allows participants to naturally interact with virtual elements, manipulate digital objects, and navigate the virtual space as if it were real. (Audio System + Motion Controller)
Hybrid Real-Virtual Environments: The "extended" aspect of XR means these systems can seamlessly blend augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) elements. This allows physical objects and participants within the cyclorama to interact with projected virtual content, or for virtual overlays to enhance the real environment (Advance Software, Learn-as-go)
Virtual Sets: Revolutionizing Live Performances and Broadcasting by allowing Actors perform within real-time virtual sets. Experience converting your Real Stage into a Virtual Set for Performance.
Advanced Training and Simulation: Providing realistic training environments for fields like healthcare (surgical simulations with physical tools and virtual organs), defense, and complex industrial operations, where multiple trainees can collaborate
Interactive Design and Prototyping: Enabling engineers, architects, and designers to collaboratively review and iterate on virtual prototypes at full scale within a shared physical space
Immersive Entertainment and Education: Creating captivating multi-user experiences for museums, theme parks, and educational institutions, allowing groups to explore historical events, distant lands, or scientific phenomena together
Extended Reality (XR) is transforming healthcare and medical training through innovations like VR simulations for surgical practice, AR-enhanced surgical procedures, and mental health therapies.
A cyclorama screen designed for a virtual reality (VR) projection system requires specific characteristics to ensure an immersive and realistic experience. This specification outlines the key aspects:
Use Multi-Purpose Hall for VR Experience
Dimension / Size (varies based on application)
Minimum - 20ft x 10ft recommended for basic immersive experiences
Ideal - 100ft wide U-shaped or even a full 360-degree cylindrical (or near-cylindrical) cyclorama. Consider dimensions that allow for multiple users and unhindered movement within the projected space for truly immersive VR environment.
Curves / Coves -
- Floor-to-Wall Cove: Essential for creating an "infinity wall" effect, eliminating the horizon line. Radii typically range from 1.5 ft to 5 ft for vertical and horizontal curves.
- Corner Coves (for L or U-shaped): Smooth, continuous curves are critical to prevent visual artifacts and provide a seamless projection surface. Non-parabolic corners are often preferred to reduce sound reflection and ease lighting.
Frame Type
`A robust, custom-made frame (e.g., from GI pipe, steel, or wood) is required to maintain the precise curvature and tension of the screen.
Provision permanent built-in's on the studio walls and floor for maximum stability and seamless integration.
Freestanding, flexible setup for existing auditoriums, where permanent modifications are not feasible. Must be exceptionally stable.
Modular Frame: Modular cyclorama systems offer flexibility for future expansion, relocation, or replacement of individual sections.
Tensioning System: A system (e.g., ropes, elastic bands, or specialized tracking) to stretch the screen taut and maintain its smooth, seamless surface, preventing wrinkles or sagging.
